 We first met Rhys and the Modn Construction Co team while exploring the  best option to relocate my Dad to live closer to us due to declining  health. After exploring all the possibilities building the pod on our  property made the most sense. It was a sustainable financial choice due  to the flexibility of being able to relocate it in the future and the  time line for delivery was achievable with a short build time of 3  months.

It appealed to Dad because it was a completely seperate home so would give him independence while still being close to us.

We  started the process and dealing with Rhys the whole way through was a  great experience. He was guiding the build each stage from design,  approvals, budget through to project handover while also being the one  coordinating and executing the build.  The standard of workmanship from  all the trades involved and the design was high quality. We love the  extra design considerations that make the pod a high standard energy  rating.  Juggling busy family life and work commitments it was a big  advantage being able to make progress visits to site locally. Our build  was delivered on time and to budget which is an unusual achievement in  the current building market.   Our pod which is known to our family as  the ‘mini house’ is a space that has been built with so much care and  respect and we are exceptionally grateful to have this beautiful space  as part of our home.

 I signed up with Modn Construction in 2023 to build the first Sou Wester Pod, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Rhys was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and make adjustments whenever needed. The build itself was straightforward and stress-free, with Modn handling everything with ease. Of course, like any project, there were a few minor hiccups along the way, but Rhys went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved to my satisfaction. The quality of the pod is outstanding, and I absolutely love having my own getaway in Denmark. I’d definitely consider working with Modn again in the future. If you're thinking about building with them, I highly recommend it!
